Amina in Western Wonderland: Tassels and Tastemakers

Last night I stepped out of my pastel comfort zone, donned some denim and went to the wild west (technically the Caraondelet House) for one of my favorite events!  Tassels and Tastemakers is Be Inspired PR’s bi-annual party hosted for some of the leading wedding venders and media editors in the event industry.

After a busy day (and stressful week) at the tassel factory,  Salvatore and I were looking forward to a fun night out.  Naturally a cocktail was high on my list of priorities, So we headed to the saloon!

After the strawberry sangria started to kick in, I may have taken a few selfies…

Styled by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss and a team of top notch venders, the venue (already a lovely space)  was crawling with so many beautiful floral arrangements and thoughtful details.

Between the twinkle lights, flowers and flowing drinks I was totally getting into the  spirit of things. Although, I didn’t quite have enough sangria to join in on the line dancing (because there probably wasn’t enough in the whole joint to get me that drunk).

Before leaving the western wonderland we enjoyed cute bite sized desserts (including vegan ice-cream) and took lots of photos! I made so many new friends and happily ran into a few old ones, including Studio Mucci favorite Dawn of Beauty Frosting. We also hit up the Flip Booth and made the cutest little flipbook videos.

I may have had on denim and a cowboy hat, but I still brought a little unicorn spirit with me! I am a Tasselfairy after all 😉
